ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Safe City Headquarters to review progress on the project aimed at transforming Islamabad Safe City into a Capital Smart City.

During the visit, the interior minister inspected renovation and upgradation work at the Safe City Headquarters. He was also briefed on progress regarding the establishment of a Fusion Centre and a modern control room.

Mohsin Naqvi directed authorities to complete Safe City Phase-II within the stipulated timeframe and instructed that the control room be equipped in line with modern technological requirements.

He said all relevant institutions would be brought onto a single platform under the Safe City system to improve coordination and efficiency.

The interior minister added that the project would prove to be an important milestone in providing a safe and peaceful environment to the citizens of Islamabad.
