QUETTA (Dunya News) – An earthquake jolted Barkhan district of Balochistan, leaving residents of Rakhni and surrounding areas in panic on Wednesday.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 5, with its epicenter located 12 kilometers southeast of Rakhnai and a depth of 30 kilometers.
Locals reportedly rushed out of their homes, reciting prayers, as the tremors shook the region.
Rescue authorities confirmed that no casualties or property damage have been reported so far. However, emergency teams have been placed on alert as a precaution.
