ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - A significant development has emerged in the prohibited funding case against Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

In the document, Khan has been named the principal accused in the prohibited funding case.

The registrar’s office has initiated the scrutiny process of the charge sheet.

The case is scheduled for hearing tomorrow in the banking court in Islamabad, where it will be heard by Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar.

According to details, a total of 11 accused, including the PTI founder, face allegations of receiving funding through approximately 1,800 transactions from various countries into party accounts.

Of these, around $2.1 million in allegedly illegal funds were received under the name “Naya Pakistan,” while some funds were also routed through a company called “Vote on Cricket Limited.”

Meanwhile, Islamabad High Court has fixed for hearing tomorrow the appeal filed by Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi against their convictions in the £190 million NAB case.

Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif will hear the case.

The registrar office has issued the cause list for the hearing.
