Summary Ikhtiar Wali Khan says Pakistan’s global reputation has improved after “Marka-e-Haq,” praising leadership and armed forces, while criticizing PTI for undermining national unity and foreign policy.

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Information and KP Affairs, Ikhtiar Wali Khan on Saturday stated that “Marka-e-Haq” and Pakistan’s proactive role have boosted the country’s international reputation, restoring its standing as a global leader, commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir.

In an exclusive conversation with a local media outlet, he stated that the nation remains firmly united behind its leadership, emphasizing that Pakistan’s global standing has witnessed notable improvement along with greater respect for its passport on the international stage.

He further remarked that the strong and decisive response of the armed forces to India has drawn appreciation from global leaders and international observers, who acknowledged Pakistan’s stance and conduct.

He added that this growing global acknowledgment has significantly elevated the country’s reputation, attributing the development to the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir as under their guidance, Pakistan’s image has been strengthened worldwide.

In response to a query, he said that PTI is only focused on constructive political engagement, while alleging that PTI continues to promote a narrative aimed at targeting state institutions rather than contributing to national
consensus.

He further stated that PTI is engaged in what he described as a sustained propaganda campaign, arguing that the party has failed to present a coherent and effective foreign policy approach in the national interest.

He remarked that, in his view, PTI prioritizes its own political objectives over broader national issues and such approach weakened unity at a time when collective efforts were required.

He also commented that following “Marka-e-Haq,” PTI appears to consider itself sidelined or less relevant, and that their frustration is reflected in its continued criticism of the government and state institutions

He added that political discourse should remain constructive and focused on stability and progress, rather than confrontation, especially when the country is working to improve its international standing.
