Summary Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Karachi’s Chinese Consulate, discussed bilateral cooperation, investor facilitation, and security, and announced a conference for Chinese investors.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Chinese Consulate in Karachi, where he was received by Consul General Yang Yundong.
During the visit, the two officials held detailed discussions on Pakistan-China bilateral cooperation, facilitation of Chinese investors, and security-related matters.
Minister Naqvi highlighted measures taken to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals residing in Pakistan and assured that the concerns of Chinese businesspeople would be addressed on a priority basis.
He also announced plans to hold a conference in Islamabad soon to address the challenges faced by Chinese investors, inviting the Chinese Consul General and the Chinese business community in Karachi to participate.
Speaking on the occasion, Naqvi emphasized that Chinese investors play a vital role in Pakistan’s development, and the government is committed to providing them with every possible support. Promoting Chinese investment and ensuring a business-friendly environment in Pakistan remain top priorities for the government.
The Chinese Consul General praised Minister Naqvi’s efforts in strengthening bilateral cooperation and expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements in place.
