MURREE (Dunya News) – Two buildings have been completely destroyed after a landslide struck Punjab hillstation Murree, officials confirmed on Sunday.
The incident occurred on Dariyagali Road, where rescue teams and district administration personnel rushed to the scene soon after receiving the alert and began relief operations.
Authorities said the affected buildings had already been evacuated, and residents were shifted to safer locations in advance, preventing any loss of life.
Officials further stated that a portion of the road was also damaged due to the landslide, leading to a complete suspension of traffic in the area.
As a precautionary measure, nearby buildings have also been vacated. The area has been sealed off, and entry of unrelated individuals has been restricted to ensure public safety.
