Information Minister Attaullah Tarar claimed 481 Afghan Taliban fighters killed and 696 injured in Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, with checkpoints and military equipment destroyed.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has released the latest figures regarding Operation Ghazab lil Haq, stating that the operation is progressing successfully in line with its objectives.

According to Tarar, 481 operatives of the Afghan Taliban were killed while more than 696 were injured during the operation. He further stated that 226 enemy check posts were destroyed and control of 35 check posts was taken.

The minister added that 198 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns were destroyed during the operation. Additionally, 56 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted through aerial strikes, significantly damaging the enemy’s defensive capabilities.

Tarar said the objective of the operation is to ensure national security and deliver a strong response to enemy aggression, adding that the actions will continue until the designated targets are fully achieved.
