President Asif Ali Zardari approves March 2 joint sitting of Parliament, will address lawmakers for ninth time outlining national priorities, economy, security and democratic stability.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari has approved a summary to convene a joint sitting of the Parliament of Pakistan on March 2.
The joint sitting is constitutionally held at the beginning of every parliamentary year. The session will take place on March 2, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
Asif Ali Zardari will address the joint sitting for the ninth time in his capacity as President of Pakistan.
His speech is expected to cover national priorities, democratic stability, constitutional supremacy, sustainable economic development, the regional and global situation, the national resolve against terrorism, and the commitment to eliminating militancy operating within the country with alleged foreign backing.
