ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that Pakistan stands as a protective shield for the world in the fight against terrorism and continues to play a frontline role in global security.
He received calls from Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi and European Commissioner Magnus Brunner, who strongly condemned the recent suicide bombing in Islamabad and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives.
The Italian interior minister conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Italian government, expressing solidarity with the families of the victims and the people of Pakistan during this difficult time.
He reaffirmed Italy’s firm stance against terrorism and pledged continued cooperation to counter shared security threats.
