Karachi mayor pays surprise visit to various city areas

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited various parts of Karachi late at night and inspected ongoing road rehabilitation and development work, Dunya News reported.
Talking to media, Murtaza Wahab said that all development projects underway in the city must be completed according to quality standards and within the stipulated timeframe.
He said that along with infrastructure development, the city’s main roads should also be beautified. He said this year is the year of change and that mere explanations from authorities and officers will no longer be acceptable.
Murtaza Wahab further said that practical and visible work must be seen on roads and highways, saying that citizens should now see clear change. He added that the people of Karachi will soon feel the impact of these improvements.
