RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Major General Mohammed Bin Saeed Al Moghedi, Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, with focus on regional security and enhanced cooperation in counter terrorism efforts.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to counter terrorism and extremism through joint strategies, intelligence sharing, and capacity building among member states.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir appreciated the role of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition in promoting stability and coordinated counter terrorism initiatives across the Islamic world.

Major General Mohammed Bin Saeed Al Moghedi acknowledged Pakistan’s significant contributions and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and praised the professionalism of Pakistan’s Armed Forces.
The meeting highlighted the resolve of both sides to further strengthen institutional cooperation for peace, stability, and security in the region.
The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition delegation is visiting Pakistan from 2nd to 6th of February.
During the visit, the delegation will conduct a one week training programme at the National University of Sciences and Technology on reintegration and rehabilitation of extremist elements.
