Court extends interim bail of Aroob Jatoi in illegal gambling promotion case

The NCCIA has registered a case against Aroob Jatoi in the sessions court over allegations of illegally promoting gambling apps.
LAHORE (Muhammad Ashfaq) - A Lahore sessions court on Thursday extended the interim bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of YouTuber Ducky Bhai, in a case related to the illegal promotion of gambling applications.
The hearing was conducted by Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed Qureshi, during which the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) sought additional time to submit the case record.
The counsel for NCCIA informed the court that the investigating officer was attending his brother’s wedding, and therefore could not appear or present the complete record.
Aroob Jatoi appeared before the court upon the expiry of her interim bail period. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court extended her interim bail until February 4 and adjourned further proceedings to the same date.
It is worth noting that the NCCIA has registered a case against Aroob Jatoi in the sessions court over allegations of illegally promoting gambling apps.
Further hearing in the matter has been scheduled for February 4.
