KARACHI (Dunya News) – The pillars of Rimpa Plaza, a building adjacent to Gul Plaza that was affected by a fire on M.A. Jinnah Road, have also been damaged and the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) issued notices to the administration and shop owners.

Officials said that due to a devastating fire that destroyed Gul Plaza, the pillars of Rimpa Plaza were severely affected. The SBCA has prohibited the use of the dangerous portion of the building after issuing notice.

The SBCA stated that the building cannot be used until it is declared safe, and warned of strict action against any unauthorised activity in Rimpa Plaza.

Meanwhile, authorities said that 81 people have been missing in the Gul Plaza fire that erupted on Saturday night. So far, 74 missing persons have been confirmed, while 28 people have lost their lives.
