PM Shehbaz, Qatari Amir reaffirm commitment to stronger Pakistan-Qatar ties

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim reaffirmed commitment to stronger bilateral ties, discussed regional peace, Middle East developments, and agreed to stay in close contact.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan and Qatar have reaffirmed their shared resolve to further strengthen their time-tested fraternal bonds during a telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Wednesday.
During the call, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated Qatar’s constructive and proactive role in promoting peace, dialogue, and mediation across the region. He acknowledged Qatar’s meaningful efforts to ease tensions through diplomatic means.

The prime minister assured the Qatari leadership that Pakistan would continue to play a positive and responsible role in promoting regional peace and stability.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and discussed recent developments in the Middle East. They agreed to remain in close contact in the coming days to further enhance cooperation and coordination on regional and international matters.
