ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory announcing the temporary closure of several major roads in the federal capital for six hours.
According to the advisory, multiple roads will be closed today from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Traffic authorities stated that diversions will be enforced on Police Lines Road and Faisal Avenue to manage traffic flow during this period.
Additional diversions will also be in place on Srinagar Highway and the Islamabad Expressway. Commuters have been advised to use alternative routes, including Margalla Road, Club Road, and nearby service roads, to avoid inconvenience.
The traffic police have urged citizens to plan their journeys in advance and allow an extra 20 to 25 minutes for travel. Traffic wardens will be deployed at key points across the city to guide and assist motorists.
