RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - The written verdict in the Toshakhana-II case has been released, stating that the prosecution successfully proved its case and that both accused were found guilty of criminal breach of trust.
According to the written judgment, the charges against both accused were established.
PTI founder Imran Khan was sentenced to 10 years in prison under Section 409 after the offense was proven against him, while he was also awarded a seven-year prison term under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The written verdict also noted that Imran Khan was awarded the minimum sentence in view of his advanced age, while Bushra Bibi received leniency on account of being a woman.
The verdict further states that Bushra Bibi was sentenced to 17 years in prison.

Additionally, a fine of Rs164,256,50 (Rs16.42 million) was imposed on each of the convicts.
In case of failure to pay the fine, they will have to serve an additional six months’ imprisonment.
