Summary Government has decided to start a project worth Rs 8 billion to change street lights in Islamabad.
According to sources, it is one of the most costly projects ever launched in the country.The nation would have to pay about Rs 1.65 billion as import and duty tax on recommended lights.Dunya News has the documents, including PC 1.The experts are of the view that the lights which the government has decided to install in Islamabad are already available in the local market.It seems that a strong mafia is involved in the deal for vested interests. The wealth invested on the project would be collected from masses in the name of taxes.
