ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah has made a striking claim about a past interaction involving former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa and former DG ISI Faiz Hameed.

Speaking during an interview, Rana Sanaullah recalled a meeting in which General (retd) Bajwa allegedly joked with Faiz Hameed about his physical appearance, saying that Rana Sanaullah had “become too fat” and should be made “smart again.” Sanaullah said the remark was made in reference to his previous time in jail, when he had visibly lost weight.

The prime minister’s adviser went on to allege that during Imran Khan’s government, key state affairs were being run with the consent and direction of Faiz Hameed, General Bajwa and the PTI founder Imran Khan himself.

Rana Sanaullah claimed that it was impossible for any serving military officer to fabricate a false case without the approval of the army chief, asserting that such an action would otherwise result in immediate court-martial proceedings.

He further stated that during a briefing session, when General Bajwa repeated the comment about him becoming “smart” again, he directly responded by saying that the case against him had been initiated on Bajwa’s instructions. He added that he had left the matter to divine justice, saying that accountability would be delivered in this world.
