LONDON (Dunya News) - A British court has issued a verdict against YouTuber Adil Raja, directing him to make a public apology to Brigadier (retd) Rashid Naseer.

The decision was announced by Justice Richard Spearman of the UK High Court.

According to the court ruling, Adil Raja’s apology must remain posted for 28 days across all his platforms, including X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, and his official website.

Additionally, the British court stated that Adil Raja is required to pay £310,000 in damages.

It is worth noting that Adil Raja had lost a defamation case filed against him in October.

Earlier, a crucial meeting was held between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and British High Commissioner Jane Marriott, during which Pakistan-UK relations, security cooperation, and various matters of mutual interest were discussed in detail.

The meeting also touched upon the repatriation of Pakistanis living illegally in the UK.

The Government of Pakistan handed over formal extradition documents for Adil Raja to the British High Commissioner.

Mohsin Naqvi said that he is wanted in several cases in Pakistan and therefore need to be returned to the country at the earliest.

He also provided solid evidence against Pakistani nationals who are living abroad and spreading propaganda against the state and its institutions.
