Summary Aitzaz Ahsan said that it was everybodys constitutional right to hire a counsel of his choice.
Talking to the media in Lahore, counsel for Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan said that he was consistent with his opinion that President Zardari enjoyed full immunity in Pakistan as well as in Switzerland and no contempt of court implied for not writing the letter.Aitzaz said that office of the president has complete immunity in criminal cases not his personality, therefore, I contended the court that no contempt of court implied for not writing the letter.Justice (r) Ramday does not has right to explain the constitution, Aitzaz said, adding that Justice (r) Ramday was my friend and I respect him but if he wanted to come to politics he should come openly. He said that Justice (r) Ramday did not complete the two years of ban and came to politics.
