Chinese workers to return home after completion of the projects: Naval Chief

Admiral Noman Bashir, Chief of the Naval Staff and Pro-Chancellor Bahria University Saturday said Pakistan Navy will rise to the occasion and play its active role for the stability of Pakistan whenever the country and nation needs. He said that the Chinese people working at Gawadar are not here to stay permanently and would return to China after completing their projects. He was speaking at the 5th Convocation of the Bahria University held in Islamabad. The Naval Chief said the students should never lose heart on failures and never lose sight of goals they have set for themselves. He asked the students that they should try to bring good name for their self, their parents and the university by their worthy conduct and fair dealings, smart turn out, commitment to jobs, loyalty to the organization and respect to seniors and subordinates. He said that the entire system of education inclusive of primary, secondary and university education needed to be integrated in a manner to produce quality manpower. All stakeholders i.e. educational institutions, youth, their parents, industry, corporate and service sector are to join hands in making such vibrant education system which could respond to the needs of human resources in varied areas, he urged. He further stated that we have gone in a big way for improvement in academic infrastructure, faculty development, revision of curriculum, introduction of new academic disciplines and creating conducive and students friendly environment.
