Visits flood-hit areas in Multan
MULTAN (Dunya News) - PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has urged the international community to help Pakistan to fight floods as this natural disaster could not be dealt with alone.
Addressing the flood victims in Multan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that there is a flood situation across the country and the victims are facing difficulties.
He said that he is with the flood victims in difficult times, demanding an appeal for aid for the flood victims at the global level, saying that there has already been a lot of delay on this issue, the United Nations should be approached immediately, and friends want to help Pakistan.
Earlier, during a visit to a flood-affected area, the PPP leader said that the federation and the provinces cannot fight the floods alone, and the positive reporting on the flood issue in Punjab is commendable.
Bilawal Bhutto said that the loans and electricity bills of the victims should be waived, relief should be given to the agricultural sector, the losses of the flood victims should be compensated, and an agricultural emergency should be declared in the country.
