LAHORE (Web Desk) – Shahrez, the son of Aleema Khan and nephew of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, was released from Kot Lakhpat Jail today after the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court approved his bail in Jinnah House attack case.

The move follows the submission of Shahrez’s surety bond earlier in the day.

The court had granted the bail petition yesterday, allowing for his immediate release once all formalities were completed.

The bail request was reviewed by Judge Manzar Ali Gul of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore. Following thorough consideration, the judge approved the application, setting the conditions for Shahrez’s release.

Shahrez’s surety, submitted earlier today, fulfilled the requirements of the court. With this, jail authorities at Kot Lakhpat carried out his release, officially ending his detention.
