WAZIRABAD (Dunya News) – Three newborns died as timely medical aid could not be provided to their mother in flood-affected Wazirabad.
Life in Wazirabad has been severely disrupted due to the floods, with roads submerged in water, causing major transportation difficulties.
According to rescue officials, the three newborns — two daughters and one son — passed away because the mother could not receive medical assistance on time due to the floodwater.
The affected mother stated that the local hospital was surrounded by floodwater, and if medical aid had arrived promptly, her children could have been saved.
It is worth noting that the mother gave birth to the children in a vehicle near Nala Phalko on August 28.
