Floodwaters from Nullah Dek wreaks havoc in Zafarwal

ZAFARWAL (Dunya News) - Floodwaters from Nullah Dek has wreaked havoc in Zafarwal, destroying dozens of homes and shops in Dewali area, Dunya News reported on Friday.
According to sources, a breach occurred in the only road connecting Zafarwal to Lehri, cutting off access to dozens of villages while rice crops on thousands of acres were destroyed.
On the other hand, a seasonal nullah passing through the town of Badiana in Sialkot also surged, submerging the surrounding settlements.
The Sialkot-Pasrur Road was closed for all kind of traffic, and land access to 85 villages in Bajwat and Sialkot was cut off. Residents were restricted to their homes after rise in the floodwaters.
