Ethanol sale to start from big cities

Govt. decided to start Ethanol sale in eight major cities of the country from today which will be provided Rs. 2.40 lower than standard rates. In a meeting held regarding to use of Ethanol as fuel and its rates, 10 percent immixture of Ethanol in petrol decided for primary stages. Initially petrol will be available in eight major cities of the country. Govt. wants to increase the use of Ethanol because it is cheap, Mian Manzoor Ahmed Watto said. He said that to increase Ethanols production, regulatory duty for export of residue in the sugar making process will be increase from 15 percent to 25 percent. Later on first E-10 Gasoline pump launched in Islamabad.
