LAHORE (Dunya News) – Acting on the prime minister’s special instructions, the government has kicked off practical steps to improve the immigration system in Pakistan.

According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) spokesperson, new immigration counters have been established at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore exclusively for foreign passengers.

These counters are expected to cut down on unnecessary delays during immigration clearance, making the process smoother and faster.

Officials said the move aims to give a warm welcome to foreign tourists, investors, and business delegations. By doing so, the government hopes to boost tourism, trade, and foreign investment in the country.
