JEDDAH (Dunya News) - In a tragic road accident in Saudi Arabia, seven Pakistani Umrah pilgrims from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Buner district lost their lives while six others were injured as they were travelling from Arafat to Madinah.

According to sources, a group of 13 individuals from the Dogai Totali area of Buner had gone for Umrah.

The accident occurred during their journey after completing the pilgrimage rituals.

The funeral prayers for the deceased will be offered in Saudi Arabia, while the injured are being treated in local hospitals and are reported to be receiving medical care.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi expressed deep sorrow over the incident. In his condolence message, he said, "We stand with the bereaved families of Buner in this time of immense grief. The loss is heartbreaking, and our prayers are with the injured for a swift recovery."
