LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated that the role of overseas Pakistanis in the development of the homeland is unforgettable.

Maryam Nawaz held a meeting with Member of National Assembly Naseer Ahmed Abbas, during which they discussed matters of mutual interest and progress on development projects.

The meeting also included discussions on resolving issues faced by overseas Pakistanis. PML-N Japan President Malik Noor Awan was also present.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in the politics of public service, and all resources are being utilized for the development of every region and the welfare of the people.

Under the Model Village Project, quality facilities are being provided in rural areas. She further stated that 12,000 kilometers of roads in Punjab have been constructed or rehabilitated, and over one crore patients have benefited from field hospitals and Clinics on Wheels. The government is taking steps to address the issues of overseas Pakistanis.
