4 terrorists including 2 terrorist commanders killed: ISPR

The security forces have killed four terrorists including two terrorist commanders identified as Muhammad Rasool, the brother of Ibn-e-Amin and Akram while 34 others were apprehended from Swat and Bunnu. According to an update issued by ISPR on Tuesday, security forces carried out search and sweep operation in selected houses at Shukdara. On a tip off, terrorist commander Muhammad Rasool brother of Ibn-e-Amin and Commander Akram were killed while 13 suspected terrorists were apprehended alongwith 8 small machine guns, 2 pistols, 4 seven MM rifles including 50 rounds. A local terrorist commander Wahab was killed and 14 others suspected terrorists were apprehended in a house to house search operation at Bararai near Khawazakhela. Security forces secured Degree College Matta and sanitized area astride road Matta - Kharairai while during a search and clearance operation at Zangai near Mangaltan and 6 terrorists houses were destroyed. Security forces conducted search operation at Maddi in Bannu. During encounter one terrorist was killed and 7 other suspected terrorists were apprehended.
