Railways minister announces resumption of train services in Quetta

Eid Special Train will leave Quetta on March 29
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has announced the resumption of train operations in Quetta from tomorrow (Thursday).
Speaking at a press conference, he revealed that the Jaffar Express will depart from Peshawar tomorrow and begin operations from Quetta the following day.
The Bolan Mail will now run seven days a week, while an Eid Special Train will depart from Quetta on March 29, offering a 20 percent discount for passengers during the first three days of Eid.
Addressing the recent attack on the Jaffar Express, Abbasi described it as a tragic incident and condemned the loss of innocent lives.
He praised Pakistan’s security forces for their commendable response, noting that several terrorists involved were brought to justice.
“We must leave no stone unturned in pursuing terrorists,” he said, adding that both the government and security forces are determined to combat terrorism at all levels.
