ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi visited the under-construction Chashma power plant Unit 5.
According to the Foreign Office, the IAEA chief described Pakistan’s nuclear power generation programme as “one of the most successful nuclear power generation programmes”.
He emphasised the role of nuclear power towards more sustainable and de-carbonised electricity generation.
He also inaugurated a radioactive waste incinerator at Chashma.
