Acting president summons NA session on Feb 10

This will be the 13th session of the 16th National Assembly.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Acting president Yousuf Raza Gilani summoned a session of the National Assembly on Monday (Feb 10), at 5:00pm.
According to a notification issued by the National Assembly Secretariat, the session has been convened under the powers vested in the acting president under Article 54(1) of the Constitution.
This will be the 13th session of the 16th National Assembly.
In the last session, the National Assembly passed the PECA Act Amendment Bill 2025, presented by Federal Minister Rana Tanveer, prompting journalists to protest and walk out from the press gallery.
None of the government's allied parties opposed the PECA Act Amendment Bill 2025, while the opposition had already walked out before the bill was presented.
