ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The chief commissioner ‘s Office has filed an intra-court appeal against the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) single bench decision that nullified the ban on political discussion of prisoners with visitors.
IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz will hear the appeal tomorrow.
Earlier, Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan had ruled that restricting political conversation in prison conflicted with constitutional provisions.

The chief commissioner requested the court to overturn the single bench’s decision and sought a stay order until a final verdict is a reached.
