QUETTA (Web Desk) - Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed firm determination to eradicate scourge of terrorism from country.

Talking to media along with Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti at Civil Hospital in Quetta, he said terrorists involved in today’s incident would not be spared at any cost.

The interior minister said that security forces foiled five terror attempts during last few days.

He said that federal government is providing all available assistance to Balochistan government to eradicate terrorism and development of province.

Replying to a query, Mohsin Naqvi said the prime minister has ordered an investigation into Quetta Railway Station incident.

Speaking on this occasion, the chief minister said that terrorists do not have any religion or nation, they are only terrorists.

At least 26 people were killed and 56 others injured on Saturday as a result of a bomb blast at the Quetta Railway Station.

Five railway employees and four passengers including a woman were among dead.

Police and Rescue teams reached the site of the blast soon after getting information of the explosion.

The injured were shifted to the Quetta Civil Hospital where an emergency was declared.

Sources said the explosion took place just before a Quetta-bound Jaffar Express arrived where around 200 passengers were waiting.

"Preliminary investigation suggests that a suicide bomber was involved in the blast," said the SSP Operations.
