CM asks information minister to immediately work on journalist colony phase 2
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Thursday met Punjab Minister of Information Azma Bukhari and announced provision of 3,200 plots to journalists.
The chief minister directed the minister to immediately work on the project of 'Journalist Colony Phase-2” in Lahore.
“Merit and legal requirements will be fulfilled while awarding the plots to the journalists,” assured CM Maryam.
Maryam Nawaz declared the media and government "two wheels of a same vehicle" and said housing facility was the right of the journalists.
The information ministry will advertise and seek applications for plots from journalists.
