KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said on Saturday he didn’t consider release of former first lady Bushra Bibi and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan as part of any deal.
Speaking to media, the Sindh chief minister said politicians weren’t supposed to intervene in judicial affairs, adding that peaceful protest was a right of everyone but it should be done after seeking permission from the relevant authorities.
Expressing his views on the pitched battle between Sindh police and organisers of Rawadari March, he said he had received the inquiry report of the incident. "Whoever violated law should be held accountable," he affirmed.
“Police have been pushed into a precarious situation where it becomes necessary to take action,” he added.
