NA secretariat denies summoning parliamentary leaders' meeting

Secretary assembly emphasizes that no prior notice of such a meeting has been circulated
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Assembly (NA) secretariat has denied reports of summoning a meeting of parliamentary leaders.
In an official statement, the secretariate clarified that no final decision has been made regarding calling a joint meeting of parliamentary leaders from the National Assembly and Senate.
Secretary of the assembly stated that if a decision was taken, an official notification would be issued.
He further emphasised that no prior notice of such a meeting had been circulated.
Earlier, there were reports suggesting that Speaker Ayaz Sadiq had called an in-camera meeting on October 2 to discuss security issue in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
