ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the King and people of Saudi Arabia on the 94th National Day and said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia supported each other in difficult times.
The PM also praised Saudi Arabia's vision for development and prosperity as outstanding.
He extended his congratulations to King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the people of Saudi Arabia, reaffirming the strong bond between the two nations.
Shehbaz Sharif also highlighted Saudi Arabia's efforts in economic development and promoting business activities. He highlighted that Saudi Arabia is a key advocate for peace, prosperity, stability, and inter-religious harmony.
Earlier, a ceremony was held in Islamabad to mark the 94th National Day of Saudi Arabia, where Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari extended their congratulations.
President Zardari said it was an honour to participate in the event and congratulated the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques and the Saudi people. He expressed Pakistan's gratitude to Saudi Arabia for their support in difficult times and acknowledged Saudi Arabia's excellent progress under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He added that Pakistan prays for the persistent development of Saudi Arabia.
