PTI would be banned in accordance with the law, says senior cabinet member
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal said that talks between military and PTI were not worrisome for the government.
In an interview with a foreign news outlet, Ahsan Iqbal said that the military had clarified that it wanted to eschew politics, but the PTI founder was inviting the military to intervene in politics. Imran Khan should have clarified his agenda of talks with military.
He said that PTI directly attacked the interest of the state, such a style of politics couldn't be allowed. PTI founder took the political spat to the US House of Representatives. PTI would be banned in accordance with the law.
The minister stated that the PTI founder had confessed that holding a protest in front of General Headquarters (GHQ) was his plan. On the one hand, PTI founder talked about civil supremacy, on the other hand, he invited military to intervene.

The minister stated that had the May 9 incidents happened in the US, action would have been taken against PTI. He recalled the incident of attack on the US Congress and said that 14 individuals were sentenced in that case.
The minister said that PTI could join the national mainstream politics if it changed its course.
