Accountability court adjourns hearing until Aug 16
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The accountability court in Lahore on Thursday granted former Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi’s request for exemption from physical appearance in a case involving alleged corruption in development projects.
Appearing before the court, a counsel for the PTI leader filed a request for his absence from the hearing, citing his health condition.
Through the application, Elahi informed the court that he was unwell and his physician had advised bed.
He requested the court to approve his application for exemption from physical appearance.
The court, while granting Elahi's request, adjourned hearing until Aug 16 (Tuesday).
