LAHORE (Dunya News) - Child Protection Bureau Chairperson Sara Ahmed has proposed the establishment of a virtual police station for children protection like a virtual women police station.
Punjab Assembly MPA Sara Ahmad has submitted the resolution in the Assembly Secretariat.
The resolution implies that the motive behind virtual police stations is to establish a designated virtual platform for the protection of children.
It is stated in the resolution that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Punjab IG are quite concerned about the issue of child abuse and working on it for its eradication.
Virtual police station will provide legal consultations and registrations of complaints about issues like child abuse and exploitation.
The resolution mentions that Punjab Assembly vows for its commitment for protection and welfare of children.
The virtual police station will provide a cooperative and safe environment for children's upbringing.
