ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court on Friday withdrew arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in a case related to violent protests and violation of Section 144.
The ATC court held a hearing on the application to suspend the arrest warrants issued in the case registered against Gandapur at the I-9 Police Station.
Ali Amin Gandapur, while surrendering before the court, explained that he was unable to appear earlier due to official engagements.
During the hearing, the KP chief minister requested the cancellation of the arrest warrants, which the court accepted.
Gandapur had filed request to suspend the warrants issued in the case registered at Islamabad's I-9 Police Station.

Speaking to the media, Gandapur says that there is no disagreement within the party, and minor issues are often exaggerated.
“Entire party is actively working for Imran Khan's release, and they are hopeful that the judiciary will ensure the release of the PTI founder,” he added.
