Two cops martyred as bandits storm police checkpoint in Kacha area

One bandit killed in shootout, three others wounded
KANDHKOT (Dunya News) – Two policemen were martyred and a gangster was killed when a group of bandits attacked a police checkpoint in Kacha area on Wednesday.
According to details, over 20 bandits stormed the police checkpoint, resulting in the deaths of two policemen and injuries to two others. As the police party retaliated, one bandit was killed and three others were wounded.
The gang of dacoits later fled the scene.
SSP Bashir Brohi identified the dead bandit as Nazir Bhayo, the brother of bandit Khadu Bhayo.
He said that Nazir was involved in the kidnapping of businessmen six days prior.
Following the incident, a heavy police contingent quickly arrived at the crime scene.
The injured policemen, Zahid Nasrani and Anwar Channa, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the bodies of the martyred policemen, identified as Allah Dino Sabzoi and Nisar Ahmed Kalhoro, were transported to a morgue for medico-legal procedures.
