Punjab Assembly approves budget for FY 2024-25
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Punjab Assembly has approved the provincial budget for the next fiscal year 2024-25 by passing the Finance Bill worth Rs5,446 billion.
Members of the assembly welcomed the approval of the budget for the new financial year by thumping their desks in the House.
After that, the finance minister presented the approved expenditure statement for the financial year in the House.
Later, the Speaker adjourned the session until 2pm Thursday.
