KHUSHAB (Dunya News) - A massive fire broke out in forests near Padhrar, a town of Soon Valley in District Khushab in Punjab province, on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to sources, fire erupted in forests surrounding villages Kadhar and Khokar Madwal which engulfed a sizeable area due to strong winds, destroying trees on several acres.

Rescue teams along with local residents reached the site and were busy putting out the fire. However, the raging fire is reaching the residential areas.

Forest fire erupts in Kahuta

A forest fire broke out near village Bagar Sharif in Tehsil Kahuta of Rawalpindi on Sunday, engulfing approximately 15 to 20 acres of land across different areas.



Rescue officials sprang into action upon receiving the alert, mobilizing resources to contain the blaze. The rescue teams swiftly deployed to the affected area, with over seven fire fighters and fire beaters engaged in the firefighting operation.

Despite the challenges, the rescue teams were busy in containing the fire and preventing further spread.
