MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – Rejecting the February elections and their results, Jamiat-ul-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has voting is the right of people, and governments should be formed according to the will of the masses.

Addressing a rally here on Saturday, the JUI-F chief said, “We respect the institutions. We believe that the parliament is the representative body of people and it should have the representatives of the masses. We respect the institutions. Don't let the situation spin out of control from where you and we can't come back.”

The JUI-F chief said his elders got freedom from the British, and they fought against the British rulers in sub-continent for 100 years, adding his party can fight now for the rights of people.

He said Quaid-e-Azam had said there would be democracy in the country, but democracy has been ‘murdered’ here.

“Our economy has been on the decline for 25 years, other nations are making progress by leaps and bounds, but we are declining. Today the condition of farmers is getting from bad to worse. The government is not purchasing wheat from them,” Fazlur Rehman said.
