ACE officials say KWSC officers not cooperating
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has stepped up its investigation following the revelations about massive corruption in the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC), it is learnt.
The ACE has reportedly called for the submission of record pertaining to the KWSC’s Anti-Theft Cell as well as its expenses and activities.
It has also sought the personal record of KWSC officers Muhammad Dilawar, Zaheer Sheikh and Mirza Obaidur Rehman.
But ACE officials complain that pressure was being exerted in different ways to halt the probe into corrupt practices.
They say that the KWSC officers despite being summoned were not cooperating.
