ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Former prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has been arrested by the Islamabad police in connection with an attack on a shopping mall in Islamabad, Dunya News reported.
Sardar Tanveer was arrested in a case registered in the Margalla police station on the complaint of security in-charge of the shopping mall.
According to the FIR, Sardar Tanveer, accompanied by 20 to 25 armed people, entered office of the shopping mall by breaking the locks, with intentions to take control of the premises. The mob also issued threats to kill security officials and subjected them to physical assault, says the FIR.
