ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a crucial meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed AlmalkIiy, at the Saudi Arab embassy on Saturday.

The discussions primarily centered around strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, cooperation across various sectors, and mutual interests.

During the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation for the development of Islamabad police.

Ambassador Nawaf assured full cooperation in this regard, emphasizing Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting Pakistan's law enforcement efforts.

Minister Naqvi expressed gratitude to the Saudi Ambassador for assisting young personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) in accommodation.

The meeting also touched upon the anticipated visit of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to Pakistan, a development eagerly awaited by Pakistanis.

In addition to bilateral matters, the discussion extended to humanitarian concerns, particularly regarding the issuance of travel documents for Muslims in Burma.

Minister Naqvi highlighted the evolving nature of the bilateral relationship, noting the successful visit of Saudi investors to Pakistan, which signified the transition to more robust economic ties between the two nations.

He emphasized that the upcoming visit of the Saudi Crown Prince would be transformative, marking a significant milestone in the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Nawaf reiterated Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting Pakistan through various challenges and expressed willingness to collaborate extensively to modernize Islamabad Police using the latest technology.
